Almond & Oat Energy Balls

These bad boys taste great and are very handy for snacking during the day or taking on a long training session. You can put what ever you like into these so feel free to experiment.

Ingredients

200g Almond Flour
100g Oats
100g Chopped Almonds
100g Sultanas
150g Peanut Butter (Good quality)
150g Organic Honey
3 Tbl spoon linseed mix
3 Tbl spoon Chia seed
Knob butter melted
1 Tea spoon vanilla essence

Method

Melt the butter, add the vanilla essence to it and set aside. Mix the other ingredients with your hand in a big bowl. The mixture should be sticky, firm and not too wet. If too wet the balls will fall apart in the oven so add more almond flour or oats to dry it a bit. Add the melted butter and vanilla essence and mix thoroughly. Roll into bite size balls and place in a baking tray in an oven at 180 deg Celsius for 15 mins or until lightly browned.
Allow to cool and get them into ya!

Great for a snack during the day or at night with an oul cup o’ tae.
